Wazed Ali Choudhury is a resident of Birsing Pt-II village, Fakirganj in Dhubri district of Assam. He was born on 1stJuly, 1959 to Late Abul KashemBepari and Late Kulsum Begum. Wazed Ali is married to HachnaBasira Choudhury.
Education:
He completed his Graduation in Arts from Ratnapith College, Chapar in 1987.
Career and Politics:
WazedAli Choudhury is the sitting MLA of South Salmara constituency in the 14th Assam Assembly. He has won the Assam Assembly elections of 1996, 2001 and the by-poll of 2009 on a Congress ticket. He has been renominated as the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate for the upcoming 15th Assam Assembly Election from South Salmara Constituency.
