Tamulpur is a town and a Development Block under Baksa district. The Census of 2011 declares that Tamulpur Circle has a population/inhabitants of around 235,403 peoples which includes, 119,705 males and 115,698 females.

The Assembly Constituency name of Tamulpur is 'Tamulpur Assembly Constituency' and it is the 126 assembly constituencies of Assam. Its constituency no. is 58 and it forms a part/ structure of Kokrajhar Lok Sabha/Parliamentary Constituency.


Parliamentary Constituency :

Tamulpur Assembly Constituency is a structure of the Kokrajhar Parliamentary Constituency. Tamulpur is the 10 assembly segments of Kokrajhar Parliament Seat. The current MP of the Constituency is Naba Kumar Sarania.
