GOALPARA: The Red Horns Division of Indian Army conducted a wreath-laying ceremony to express gratitude to the coronavirus frontline warriors of Goalpara district. As part of the countrywide activity, the ceremony was organized at the Police Reserve Ground in Goalpara town. This was done to express gratitude and solidarity to the police personnel on ground who are working tirelessly to enforce successful lockdown across the nation, stated an army press release.

The Indian Army and Assam Police troops during the ceremony paid obeisance in honour of all those who made the supreme sacrifice for the country in the line of duty.

"Police personnel are working day and night to keep us safe. This was done to uplift the morale and show solidarity to all those who are engaged in fighting the present battle against the global pandemic," further stated the press release.
