Former Chairman of DHD Dilip Nunisa demanded CBI probe into Santosh Hojai

HAFLONG: Dilip Nunisa, president, Halali Progressive Welfare Society, Haflong and former chairman of Dima Halam Daogah (DHD), in a letter to the Chief Minister, demanded impartial investigation into the killing of Santosh Hojai.

Santosh Hojai was abducted on April 24 by unidentified gunmen. His body was recovered near Lailing on the National Highway under Langting Police station on April 30. Nunisa said that Hojai was a simple man who was running a small business. He was a BJP member and former senior cadre of Dima Halam Daogah.

On behalf of the Halali Progressive Welfare Society Haflong, an organization of former Dima Halam Daogah (DHD) cadres, Nunisa urged the Chief Minister to order an inquiry by CBI to find out the culprits behind Hojai's abduction and killing.
