Youngster from Assam dies from COVID-19 in Mumbai

Guwahati: Youngster from Assam has died from COVID-19 in Mumbai. Mohammad Badaruddin from Hojai passed away at Saint George Hospital in Mumbai. He died on Sunday late night. He was admitted to the hospital after he complained of diarrhoea and abdominal pain.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has condoled the death of Assam CRPF personnel Md. Ikram Hussain. Expressing grief at the jawan death Sonowal twitted, "Deeply saddened to learn of the demise of CRPF India jawan MD. Ikram Hussain. To his last breath this brave son of Maa Bharti kept fighting against COVID-19. His undying spirit inspires us to sacrifice everything for the nation. My condolence". Hussain is the first CRPF personnel died from COVID-19 pandemic. He was posted at Delhi in the 31st batch of the Central Paramilitary Force.
