Congress candidate Abdul Khaleque takes over the Barpeta Lok Sabha seat defeating AGP candidate Kumar Deepak Das

Barpeta: Abdul Khaleque, with a margin of more than 80,000 votes, defeats his AGP rival Kumar Deepak Das to get hold of the Barpeta Lok Sabha seat. Khaleque gains a total of 534235 votes with Das trailing. The AGP candidate secures 451327 votes
