Heroin seized during Naka Checking in Cachar, 3 apprehended

Guwahati: Based on secret information, O/C Jirighat PS, Cachar and staff headed by SDPO, Lakhipur conducted Naka checking at Upper Labankhal under Jirighat PS and apprehended 03 (three) persons from an Auto-Rickshaw bearing Registration No: AS-11CC-5034 coming from Uttar Lalpani side and recovered 60 Grams suspected to be Heroin and 01 (one) Mobile Handset from their possession.

The apprehended persons were identified as Len Singson (38 yrs) S/O-Lt. Manga Singson of Phaithol, Tamenglong, Manipur, Themnu Singson (34 Yrs) D/O-Lt. Ngma Singson & W/O-Mimin Singson of Phaithol, Tamenglong, Manipur, Esak Hmar (23 Yrs) S/O-Seth Hmar of Uchhathol, Jiribam, Manipur.

All the apprehended persons were brought to Jirighat PS for thorough interrogation.

In this connection, a case vide Jirighat PS Case No.21/2020 U/S-22(B) NDPS Act has been registered. The above named accused persons are arrested.
