Guwahati: After Assam Police Department shared a creative on twitter congratulating Dhing Express Hima Das for her incredible performance at the International competitions this year, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on July 22 interestingly shared the same creative while congratulating the ace sprinter.
Bollywood’s Big B while sharing his tweet mentioned “T 3233 - Hima Das .. the pride of India .. to the Moon and beyond .. indeed but we need to add another Moon for she has done 5 now .. AMAZING!!”
The tweet was widely shared and was re-tweeted for around 3.2 K (approx) times and was also liked by the netizens for more than 40.3 K times.
Earlier, Congratulating the star sprinter, Assam police had tweeted “Your Success makes us feel over the moon, literally!”
On being contacted Senior Police Officer and the ADGP heading the Assam Police Social Media Center, Harmeet Singh on Monday told The Sentinel Digital “We actually feel honoured and quite nice. As we said in our congratulatory tweet for Hima Das, we ‘feel over the moon’, that someone of the stature of Amitabh Bachchan noticed our small efforts at the creativity and used our visual.”
On the creative being ‘borrowed’ by the Mega Star without “credit” to the Assam Police, Senior Police Officer Singh added, “maybe someone from his team found the creative and did not inform him of the provenance. Like the creative flowed to them on the internet, I guess with the interest being generated on its use, he will get to know of our Twitter presence too.”
It will be quite interesting to see if Senior Bachchan comes forward to share the credit with Assam Police for the 'creative' which his team had 'borrowed' to share it on the microblogging site.
