All 78 Children Released while Two Teachers are still being held in Cameroon

Guwahati: In a major shock to Cameroon, 78 children, their head teacher along with a teacher and driver were kidnapped from a school near Bamenda late on Sunday by some unidentified armed men. The latest update is that there is a big relief from the tension lately as all 78 children are being released by the kidnappers.

A priest who is involved in negotiations with the kidnappers has said that all 78 children are released by the kidnappers but the head teacher and a class teacher are still being kept as hostages.

Samuel Fonki, a minister of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon and the negotiator with the kidnappers says, “Praise God seventy-eight children and the driver have been released. The principal and one teacher are still with the kidnappers. Let us keep praying.”
