CBSE Class 10 Result: Northeast Boys outperform Girls in AISSE 2019 Examination

Guwahati: With the declaration of CBSE class 10 results on Monday, boys from Northeast India outperform girls in this year All India Secondary School Examination.

As per CBSE report from Guwahati Region, around 63,238 students appeared for the Class 10 CBSE examination, out of which 42,285 students passed the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) this year.

It is to be noted that around 22,072 boys passed the class 10 CBSE examination, followed by girls which were reported to be around 20,213.

Boys pass percentage for CBSE class 10 result was around 74.61% and girls 74.36%.

It can be estimated that the girl students had performed equally well in the class 10 AISSE examination this year with an overall pass percentage of 74.49%.

School wise results are as follow:

Kendra Vidyalaya School (KVS): 98.47%

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS): 95.13%

Government Schools: 52.67%

Private Schools: 92.73%

Total Schools: 966 numbers appeared for AISSE 2019 Examination

Total Centres: 377
