Major Reshuffle in Assam State Police Dept, DCP (East) Ramandeep Kaur posted as IGP(L)

Guwahati: Assam Government on Thursday made a major reshuffle in the state police department on August 1, 2019. Issuing an order undersigned by Kumar Sanjay Krishna, additional chief secretary to the government of Assam, Home and Political Department, the government has transferred and posted 9 top police officers.

As per the order copy, Senior Police Officer Ramandeep Kaur, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Guwahati is transferred and posted as Asst. Inspector-General of Police (L) Assam.

Also, Mohneesh Mishra, Superintendent of Police, Hailakandi is transferred and posted as Superintendent of police, CM’s SVC, Assam, Guwahati.

Ranjan Bhuyan, Asst Inspector General of Police (R), Assam, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Guwahati.

Pabindra Kumar Nath, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admin), Guwahati is transferred and posted as Superintendent of police, Halaikandi.

Mihirjit Gayan, Superintendent of police, CM’s SVC, Assam, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Superintendent of police, SB (SOU), Assam, Kahilipara against an existing vacancy.

Ripul Das, Asst Inspector General of Police (L), Assam, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), Guwahati.

On the other hand, Dharmendra Kumar Das, Deputy Commissioner of Police (central), Guwahati is transferred and posted as Asst Inspector General of police (R), Assam, Guwahati.

Furthermore, Devojyoti Mukharjee, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Security) to CM, Assam is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Border), Assam, Guwahati and Mantu Thakuria, Commandant 1^st AFPF Battalion, Basistha, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Superintendent of police (security) to CM, Assam, Guwahati, against existing vacancy.
