Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Wednesday flagged off campaign vehicles ahead of the TTAADC elections and said that the outreach programme will cover tribal areas across the state.
Taking to micro-blogging site X, Saha said the campaign aims to reach every corner of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) region and spread the message of development, peace and public welfare.
"Today, at the premises of the BJP State Office, I flagged off the campaign vehicles in view of the upcoming TTAADC elections.This campaign will reach every corner of the tribal areas and spread the message of development, peace, and public welfare," Saha wrote on X.
He expressed confidence that support for the Bharatiya Janata Party is growing among people from all sections in the TTAADC, attributing it to the party’s focus on development.
The Chief Minister said the initiative is being carried out under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening development in tribal areas.
"Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji, and with our commitment to the development of the state at the forefront, the belief is growing stronger that people from all sections of TTAADC will stand with the BJP. Together with everyone, we will build a stronger, more prosperous, and development-oriented TTAADC," he added.
Saha further added that efforts will continue to build a more prosperous and development-oriented TTAADC with the support of the people.
