Assam: Massive reshuffle at SP level by State Government

Guwahati: The State Government shuffled 65 police officers at the SP level today.

ADCP East Bibekananda Das has been promoted to SP and posted to the 9th APBn at Berhampur in Nagaon. Manabendra Deb Ray has been posted as ADCP East in his place.

ADCP Traffic, Guwahati Inom Saikia has been promoted to SP and posted as Commandant to the 2nd Commando Bn at Birsima in the Hailakandi district.

Dima Hasao ASP Indranil Baruah has been promoted to SP and posted as the Commandant to the 23rd AP(IR)Bn, Silone, Karbi Anglong. ASP Bir Bikram Gogoi will come to his place.

Kokrajhar ASP Surjeet Singh Panesar has been promoted as SP and posted as the Commandant of the 1st APBn at Ligiripukhuri, Sivasagar.

CM Vigilance ASP Gunindra Deka, and attached to CM's security, has been promoted as SP and posted as SP Security (ii) to the Chief Minister.

While GRP SP Mayank Kumar has posted as Dima Hasao SP, 9th APBN Commandant Manabendra Deb Ray has been posted as IGP (Admin East), Ulubari, Guwahati.

Commandant of RTS, Dergaon Horen Tokbi, has been posted as SP (State Crime Record Bureau) CID.
