108 services attend 303 accident cases in 2 days; Kamrup district tops list with 33 cases

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup district topped the list in terms of the number of accidents taking place in the state in the past two days - November 12 and 13.

According to 108 Mrityunjoy Services, it attended as many as 303 road traffic accident cases in the past two days during Diwali in the state, 142 cases on November 12 and 161 cases on November 13.

According to 108 Mrityunjoy Services, the Kamrup district topped the list with as many as 33 accidents in the past two days, 12 on November 12 and 21 on November 13.

Following the Kamrup district is the Sonitpur district, with 24 accident cases, ten on November 12 and 14 on November 13.

In the past two days, other districts of the state recorded 21 accident cases in Nagaon: 20 in Barpeta; 19 each in Golaghat and Kamrup (M); 15 in Jorhat; 12 in Kokrajhar; 11 in Darrang and Cachar; ten in Dibrugarh, Golapara, and Morigaon; nine in Nalbari and Udalguri; eight in Karimganj; seven each in Bongaigaon, Charaideo, Majuli, and Tinsukia; six in Dhemaji; five in Sivasagar; four each in East Karbi Anglong and Lakhimpur; three each in Dhubri, Dima Hasao, and Hailakandi; two each in Baksa and Chirang; and one each in South Salmara and West Karbi Anglong.
