Admission into Cotton University: High cut-off marks in the offing

GUWAHATI: Publication of the combined provisional merit lists of undergraduate applicants has hinted that Cotton University will once again witness high cut-off marks during admission intro various courses this year.

In the provisional lists published by Cotton University, 490 is the top score for BSc (honours) first-semester admission (except biotechnology). For BA (honours) (except mass communication and journalism), the corresponding score is 495.

Cotton University has, however, notified that the merit lists published last week are draft lists and the final unreserved and quota-wise merit lists would be published after correction of errors or updating data reported by the candidates. The university does not publish the cut-off lists before admission dates. The admission process ends as and when the seats are filled up. After necessary corrections in the provisional lists, the final merit lists will be published soon. The university has planned to complete the admission process before the Durga Puja.
