All India Congress Committee Announces Candidates For By-Polls

GUWAHATI: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced their candidates for the by-elections in the four constituencies of Sonari, Rangapara, Jania and Ratabari, to be held on October 21, on Saturday.

According to an AICC press release, AICC president Sonia Gandhi has approved the candidates for seats in the four constituencies. Keshav Prasad Rajak will contest for Ratabari constituency, Shamsul Hoque will contest for Jania constituency, Kartik Kurmi will contest for Rangapara constituency, and Sushil Suri will contest for Sonari constituency.
