'Amrit Bhawan Lokarpan Samaroh' organized at Hajongbori near

GUWAHATI: An 'Amrit Bhawan Lokarpan Samaroh' was held on Sunday at the Vidya Bharati Multipurpose Project at Hajongbori near here, stated as press release.

The lighting of the lamp ceremony at the programme was performed by Suresh Soni, All India Executive member of the Rashrtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Hari Ganga Prasad, general secretary of Sishu Siksha Samiti, Assam Kulendra Bhagawati, president of Vidya Bharati Multipurpose Project Sanchiram Payeng and many other notable educationists and distinguished persons were present in the meeting

The welcome speech was delivered by Jagannath Rajbonshi, assistant general secretary of Sishu Siksha Samiti, Assam. The introductory speech was delivered by Dr Dibyajyoti Mahanta, president of Sishu Siksha Samiti, Assam.

Shreeram Arawakar, joint organizing secretary of Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan, in his valuable speech spoke about ideal education and also the noble relationship between teacher and students. Suresh Soni explained that the main objective of Vidya Bharati is to impart education. He commented that there is not hard-and-fast rule regarding time of education. A person has his whole life to acquire education. He added that one can learn not only from books, but also from sports, conversations with paremts etc. He also talked about the NEP 2020. The meeting concluded with singing of Vande Mataram. The vote of thanks was offered by Kulendra Bhagawati.
