GUWAHATI: Continuing the probe into the APDCL (Assam Power Distribution Company Limited) recruitment examination scam, sleuths of the Chief Minister's Special Vigilance Cell, on Wednesday, quizzed two officials of the company, namely Daisyim Hazarika and Sanjay Bhowmik.

Both the ADCL personnel have been asked to appear before the CM's Vigilance Cell on Thursday also. Moreover, the investigating team has directed GU (Gauhati University) Professor Dilip Borah to appear before them on Thursday.

Prof. Borah, Secretary, University Classes (in-charge) of Gauhati University, has been already relieved of his responsibilities. He had cited personal reasons for his "inability" to carry out the administrative responsibilities assigned to him.

The GU had constituted an 'External Examination Cell' for evaluation of the answer sheets handed over by the APDCL. Prof. Borah, along with two other members, was included in that cell.
