PG & UG hostels under Gauhati University to reopen from October 1
The hostels for PG (Post Graduate) and UG (Under Graduate) students under GU (Gauhati University) will reopen from October 1, informed a notification of the varsity.

GUWAHATI: The hostels for PG (Post Graduate) and UG (Under Graduate) students under GU (Gauhati University) will reopen from October 1, informed a notification of the varsity.
Meanwhile, the hostels for 'Research Scholars' in the varsity premises also reopened on Saturday (September 11).
All the hostels of GU will operate according to the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) issued by the ASDMA (Assam State Disaster Management Authority). The decisions in this regard were taken in a meeting of the GU hostel wardens held on September 9, 2021.
