Assam: Chief Minister’s Aid to Ailing Bhawani Prasad Adhikari

GUWAHATI: Following a directive from Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, his OSD (officer on special duty) Nabajit Patgiri handed over a cheque of Rs 2 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to renowned litterateur Bhawani Prasad Adhikari.

Adhikari has been under treatment in a private hospital in Guwahati. The Chief Minister wished for an early recovery of the litterateur, who expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for benevolence.
