PALASBARI: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the temporary office building of BJP's Airport Mandal committee at Borjhar in VIP, one of the four mandals of the newly formed Jalukbari constituency.

The Chief Minister, while inaugurating this Mandal office under the Jalukbari Assembly constituency, said that the name of the new state president of the BJP will be announced on January 17. The nomination form can be submitted by tomorrow in the cabinet meeting. CM also said that the ministers will inspect the semiconductor project after the cabinet meeting.

"All decisions of the Congress party are taken at Sonia Gandhi's residence, but all decisions of the BJP are taken at the BJP office, "said the Chief Minister.

On the other hand, CM Sarma officially inaugurated the construction of a guard wall at a cost of Rs 50 lakh on the Kalmani River passing near Sabha Ghar in Azara today. In the meet, the chief minister was felicitated by various public institutions, senior citizens forums, and other institutions in the area and presented memoranda on various issues and exchanged views.
