The drones have facilitated the delivery of Rabies Immunoglobulin, transportation of diagnostic samples, and teleconsultation services, significantly improving healthcare access in underserved areas.
The initiative operates in collaboration with TechEagle Innovations Private Limited, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. AIIMS Guwahati also acknowledged the role of local medical officers and drone operators, known as ‘drone didis,’ in the successful execution of the project.
