Assam: Drug Peddler Arrested with Suspected Heroin in Guwahati City

Guwahati: The Special Task Force (STF) conducted a raid at Lokhra Road, Lalganesh, under the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station on the evening of Wednesday.

During the operation, the STF apprehended a drug peddler identified as Jintu Mandal (32) and seized a significant quantity of suspected heroin along with other items. Seized items include 28 vials containing suspected heroin, weighing 37.15 grams, and two mobile phones.

Legal actions have been initiated against him.
