Assam: East Guwahati Police District Arrested Bike Lifter

GUWAHATI: An East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Dispur PS apprehended a bike lifter, Ajet Ali (24), of Dhubri, at Beltola. Ali was on his way to Meghalaya with the stolen bike from Barpeta.

Recently, with the assistance of the Customs Department, recovered 19 stolen bikes at Dawki, on the India-Bangladesh border. The recovered vehicles were stolen from various locations across Assam. Legal action has been initiated against the accused.
