Assam Government reshuffled ACS officers

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has ordered the transfer of five Assam Civil Service (ACS) officers.

In a notification issued by the Personnel Department, Government of Assam, it was stated that Adhar Bhuyan, District Development Commissioner, Jorhat, and Principal Secretary, Thengal Kachari Autonomous Council, has been transferred and directed to report to the Personnel Department for further posting..

Pranab Kumar Borah, Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Jorhat, and Principal Secretary, Thengal Kachari Autonomous Council, has been transferred and posted as District Development Commissioner, Jorhat, and Principal Secretary, Thengal Kachari Autonomous Council as additional charge.

Gitartha Baruah, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, General Administration, Higher Education Departments and Governor’s Secretary has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of Housing and Urban Affairs and MD, AMRUT, Assam as additional charge.

Rintu Chandra Boro, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj has been placed at the disposal of the Welfare of Bodoland Department for posting him as Joint Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar. Asutosh Deka, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Cachar has been transferred and posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Morigaon.
