Assam: Guwahati Jal Board Conducting Hydro Test in City

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has announced that it will conduct a hydro test of a 500mm diameter DI pipe from February 23 to February 24, 2025, at the PWD Right of Way (ROW) on the right side towards Gouripur in North Guwahati. During the testing period, water leakages may occur at certain locations. However, GJB has assured that its team will promptly address and rectify any issues that may arise.

Authorities have urged all citizens concerned to cooperate during this essential testing activity. "We appreciate the understanding and support of residents as we carry out this crucial exercise," GJB stated. The hydro test is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the city's water supply infrastructure.
