Guwahati: In a significant step towards sustainability and community welfare, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has introduced donation racks at the Divisional RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Facility located on Bhuban Road in Uzan Bazar. The initiative encourages citizens to donate unused items such as utensils, footwear, garments, and other household items. These contributions will be distributed to underprivileged individuals, promoting the reuse of items that might otherwise go to waste.

Highlighting its vision, GMC shared the message: “Give what you don’t use; we’ll find someone who needs it.” This endeavour underscores GMC’s commitment to building a sustainable and compassionate community. Residents are urged to visit the facility and contribute to this noble cause, extending support to those in need while reducing environmental waste.
