Assam: Guwahati to host 7th NE patient safety workshop from December 6-7

GUWAHATI: The 7th North East Patient Safety Workshop is scheduled for December 6 and December 7, 2024, at Assam down town University, Panikhaiti, Guwahati. This pioneering event in the region seeks to unite healthcare professionals, administrators, and students to address critical aspects of patient safety, fostering a culture of care and quality in healthcare delivery. Notably, delegates from Bhutan and Nepal have attended past editions and will participate this year as well.

Dr. Udayan Barua highlighted the importance of such workshops in transforming healthcare safety practices, stating, "This initiative is pivotal in ensuring sustainable improvements in patient care", stated a press release.
