GUWAHATI: Is all going well in the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB)? The board today postponed the first HS math examination that was scheduled for March 21 for an indefinite time.
The in-charge controller of examination of the board issued a notification today stating that the board had to defer the mathematics examination for HS first year due to an unavoidable reason. The notification said that the board will announce the next date of the HS first-year mathematics examination later.
According to an ASSEB source, the Board has asked all examination centres that have already collected the mathematics question paper for the HS first-year examination to deposit the question papers to their respective authorities by 5 pm on March 20.
This is the first year this amalgamated board is holding examinations.
The HS first-year examination began on March 6 and is scheduled to conclude on March 29.
Meanwhile, the Sadou Asom Sanmilito Shikshak Mancha raised the demand for exemplary punishment of the erring people if the deferment of the HS first-year Mathematics examination is due to leakage of the question paper.
