Assam: Traffic Diversion Due to Road Construction Work in Dimoria

GUWAHATI: The Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Dimoria, has issued a public notice informing commuters of a traffic diversion due to road construction work on the Borkhat to Byrnihat road. The diversion will be in effect until further notice.

According to the notice, vehicular traffic will be diverted through alternate routes. For light vehicles travelling from Byrnihat to Borkhat, two routes have been suggested: via Kamalajari-Borkhat Chowk-Chamata Pathar Chowk or via Kamalajari-Borkhat Chowk-Arabari-Ural Chowk. For heavy vehicles, the diversion route is via Kamalajari-Borkhat Chowk-Arabari-Ural Chowk.

Similarly, for vehicles travelling from Borkhat to Byrnihat, light vehicles can take the route via NH27-Ural Chowk-Chamata Pathar Tiniali or via NH27-Arabari-Ural Chowk-Kamalajari. Heavy vehicles will need to take the route via NH27-Arabari-Ural Chowk-Kamalajari-Borkhat Chowk.

Commuters are advised to follow the diversion routes to avoid inconvenience.
