Assam: Woman attacked by two miscreants in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: A gruesome incident occurred in Guwahati’s Sunderpur area on Saturday, leaving a woman severely injured after a failed chain-snatching attempt. The victim, identified as Kanchan Sinha, was attacked by two miscreants on a bike while on her morning walk. According to eyewitnesses, the perpetrators attempted to snatch Sinha’s chain but, failing to do so, brutally stabbed her. The injured woman was rushed to a private hospital in Guwahati, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
