GUWAHATI: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division I, has directed the heads of institutions to start the process of entering internal assessment (IA) marks of students appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2025, in the portal. The portal will remain open from December 23 to 28, 2024.
According to a notification issued by ASSEB, Division I, in the IA marks entry portal, the enrolled candidates will be prepopulated along with their subjects. Schools have to enter IA marks against each required subject for each candidate. The IA marks of the English (C1) subject will be pre-populated based on the candidate's performance in the Central Test I and Central Test 2 of Spoken English.
For the candidates whose marks are not pre-populated, the school has to enter marks based on earlier internal assessments. For other subjects-General Mathematics (C2), General Science (C3), Social Science (C4), Advanced Mathematics (E) (19), and Geography (E) (31)-schools have to enter the IA marks by themselves, based on internal assessments.
The board made it clear that the IA marks, once submitted, cannot be altered. After submission of IA marks, a school has to download the IA mark foil and print it.
In the printed IA mark foil, all subject teachers (English, General Mathematics, General Science, Social Science, Advanced Mathematics, and Geography) and the head of institutions have to sign.
The school will further upload the signed IA mark foil in the portal by clicking on the tab "Upload Mark Foil After All Signatures."
No offline marks will be accepted.
