Guwahati City Police paid Rs 1 lakh to the next of kin of Ramu Rai, who had died due to electrocution.

GUWAHATI: Guwahati City Police paid Rs 1 lakh to the next of kin of Ramu Rai, who had died due to electrocution. Ramu sustained injuries due to electrocution while cleaning the water pipes of Fatasil Ambari Police Station on Tuesday. He died in the GMCH. Ramu Rai hailed from Lalganesh.
