B Narayanan is new zonal DG of Press Information Bureau, Northeast Zone

GUWAHATI: B Narayanan took charge of as the Director General (DG) of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Northeast Zone, Guwahati on Tuesday.

He will look after the publicity work of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for the entire Northeast zone, informed an official communiqué. Earlier, he was posted at Additional Director General, PIB, Imphal.

B Narayanan is an officer from the 1990 batch of the Indian Information Service. Narayanan had headed the New Media Wing of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for four years as Additional DG and also headed the Social Media Wing and Fact-Check Cell of PIB for over a year.
