Bir Lachit Xena leader Shrinkhal Chaliha in Jail

GUWAHATI: Bir Lachit Xena leader Shrinkhal Chaliha was sent to the judicial custody by the CJM (Chief Judicial Magistrate) Court where he was produced on Monday when the term of his CID custody ended. He had been arrested from Dibrugarh from where he brought to Guwahati. He has a case with the CID for making provocative statements during the agitation against the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act).
