Book titled Hanti Bisari (In Search of Peace) released at Guwahati Press Club

Guwahati: A book titled Hanti Bisari (In Search of Peace), written by Archbishop Thomas Menamparampil, was released by Hiren Gohain at Guwahati Press Club. It has been translated into Assamese by Paresh Malakar. Prof. Satyakam Borthakur of Dibrugarh University had helped in the compilation of texts from original Assamese authors.

The compilation of the book was initiated with the encouragement of renowned scholar Nagen Saikia. The book release function held recently turned out to be a social discussion session in which the need for mutual understanding between communities was emphasized.
