Child dies due to lightning in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A child died due to lightning at Pragati Nagar in Satgaon.

Identified as Mamata Begum (11), alias Dhunu, was playing in the front yard of her house when she got struck. Her parents were not at home at the time. She was taken to a private hospital, but she was declared dead.
