Two killed in lightning in Assam

GUWAHATI: The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) confirmed the death of two people in lightning in the state today. Unofficial sources, however, put the death toll from lightning in the state at four, including two youths from Abhayapuri. The lightning struck 11-year-old Mamta Begum at Satgaon in Guwahati and 61-year-old Mahej Sheikh of Kharpori village in the Mangaldai Revenue Circle.
