GUWAHATI: The ASRLM (Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission) has prepared around 10 lakh masks to fulfill its increasing demand. As per the appeal made by State P&RD Minister Naba Kumar Doley, the self-help groups that are under ASRLM have prepared the masks. The self-help groups will continue this service so as to meet the increasing demands for masks during this COVID-19 pandemic.

As it has become necessary to open stalls so as to make the masks available for public, now centres are being opened in different parts in order to sell the products. With the aim to make the masks available for public one stall was inaugurated in front of the Assam Secretariat on Wednesday and another one in front of the DC office. Inaugurating a stall for selling masks , Doley said that it would be easier to defeat Coronavirus, if every individual comes together to contribute a little in the fight as per their ability. While expressing his gratitude to the self-help groups who are preparing masks at a mission mode he said that the stalls would be helpful in making masks available for the public.
