In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the District Commissioner of Kamrup Metropolitan, Sumit Sattawan, has ordered the deposit of all licensed weapons at the nearest police station.

Guwahati: In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the District Commissioner of Kamrup Metropolitan, Sumit Sattawan, has ordered the deposit of all licensed weapons at the nearest police station. The same has to be done within 7 days of the publication of the order.
