Duo arrested for snatching money by Hajo Police

GUWAHATI: Hajo Police has arrested two people for snatching money from a person in Hajo on Friday. The accused have been identified as Inamul Ali of Bihdiya village and Bubul Ali of Sastar village. As per reports, the accused snatched the money from Tarun Barman, a customer relations officer of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank who was collecting money from the villagers. The police have recovered an amount of Rs.1,33,280, one motorcycle and a machete from their possession. The accused are currently under judicial custody and they have been booked under case (110/2020 u/s 394 IPC).
