Faculty Development Programme Concludes in ADTU, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Assam Down Town University (ADTU), Guwahati successfully completed a five-day session of online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) held with the theme 'Evolution of SARS-CoV-2 Infection, Its Diagnosis and Management: Perspectives from Health Care Professionals'.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Anup Barman, Director of Medical Education, Government of Assam, stated a press release. Dignitaries present at the event were Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) N.C Talukdar, Dr.Pratap Chandra Sarma, chairperson of Faculty of Paramedical Sciences and Faculty of Sciences), among others.

The FDP was organized keeping in mind the importance of the evolution of COVID-19 virus, its diagnostic tool, management and to create awareness about myths and facts of the virus. There were 10 speakers as resources person from India and abroad. The entire programme was concluded successfully with 387 participants registered from all over India.
