Final chance for LP and UP school teacher candidates to verify documents

Guwahati: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, has issued a final notice for candidates who missed the physical document verification process for the recruitment of Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) school teachers. The notice offers a last opportunity for absentee candidates from both the 1st and 2nd phases of verification.

As per the original schedule, the 1st phase of verification was held from March 20 to April 11, 2025, while the 2nd phase ran from June 27 to July 10, 2025. However, a significant number of candidates failed to appear, particularly those from the Barak Valley region affected by road closures and landslides.

To accommodate these candidates, the DEE has announced revised dates for physical document verification. For candidates who missed the 2nd phase (including those from Barak Valley due to road closure) will be held on July 11 and 12. On the other hand, the candidates who missed the 1st phase will be held on July 14.

The verification will take place at Rohika, Assam Agriculture University International Guest House, Khanapara, Guwahati.

Candidates must bring a valid reason for their prior absence. DEE has made it clear that those remaining absent even after the final opportunity will face summary rejection without any further consideration.
