Four injured after scuffle between families in Goroimari Paarghat, Chaygaon

GUWAHATI: Around four people were grievously injured after a scuffle broke out between two families in the Goroimari Paarghat area under Chaygaon Police Station on Sunday. After receiving information, a team of Goroimari OP under Chaygaon PS rushed to the spot and sent the injured persons to GMCH (Guwahati Medical College and Hospital) for treatment. The police have arrested four people in this regard and two cases under case no. 163/2020 U/S 147/148/149/325/326/307 IPC and 164/2020 U/S 147/148/149/325/326/307/379 IPC were registered. Meanwhile, further investigation is on and the arrested people have been forwarded to the judicial custody.
