Gauhati University Post Graduate Entrance Test from July 10 to 12

GUWAHATI: Gauhati University has announced the schedule for the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET-2025) for admissions into its postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2025-2026.

According to the notification issued by the office of the secretary, university classes and the entrance examinations will be conducted on July 10, 11, and 12, 2025. The examinations will take place across 20 designated centres throughout Assam and other northeastern states to facilitate accessibility for candidates aspiring to pursue postgraduate studies at Gauhati University and its affiliated colleges and institutes.

The university also confirmed that the SAMARTH registration portal will be launched shortly for online applications. Along with the portal, the university will release a comprehensive information brochure containing details on the rules and regulations, accessible through both the university’s official website (www.gauhati.ac.in) and the SAMARTH portal.

Students have been advised to regularly visit the official website for updates regarding the entrance process.
