Guwahati: On the auspicious occasion of the holy Shravan month, Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, paid a visit to the sacred Bhima Shankar temple at Pamohi on Monday.

During the visit, Governor Acharya performed a puja at the temple and offered prayers, seeking the blessings of the Lord Shiva for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of all sections of society. Considering the spiritual and cultural significance of the Shravan month in Hindu tradition, the Governor expressed hope that the divine blessings of Lord Shiva would bring harmony and uplift to the people of the state and elsewhere, stated a press release.
