Guwahati: Basistha Police Recovered Stolen Liquor in City

Guwahati: Basistha Police recovered a consignment of stolen liquor that had gone missing from a mini truck parked near the Bharat Petrol Pump in Lalmati. The liquor was recovered following the arrest of a youth identified as Dipjyoti Kakoti of Baikun-thapur. During interrogation, Kakoti confessed to the crime, leading the police to the stolen consignment.

Along with the liquor, police also seized an auto-rickshaw (AS01QC6662) from his possession. Further investigation is underway.
