Guwahati: Basistha Police Recovered Stolen Vehicles; Thief Nabbed

Guwahati: A team from Basistha Police Station, while on evening patrol, recovered an abandoned E-rickshaw (AS21 ER 6536) at 13 Mile. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen from Khalpiya Chariali under Boribazar Outpost in Morigaon district.

In a separate operation, the same team apprehended Saharul Islam (27) of Goalpara, a habitual offender, and recovered a grey Honda Activa 5G (AS01 EA 1839) that had been stolen a day earlier from GMCH, Bhangagarh. Legal action has been initiated in both cases.
