Guwahati: Thief nabbed with stolen smartphone, cash

Guwahati: Amid heightened security arrangements during the Ambubachi Mela, City Police apprehended a woman involved in theft at the Kalipur Ashram PCR on Wednesday. The woman was caught red-handed with a stolen Realme 11 Pro smartphone, Rs 5,496 in cash, and a blue purse, all stolen from a devotee attending the festival. Legal action has been initiated against the accused.
