GUWAHATI: The district-wise orientation and training programmes for the 2025 Haj pilgrims under the Joint State Haj Committee – Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, etc. – will start on April 3 and conclude on April 16, 2025.
The pilgrims of Kamrup (K) and Kamrup of Assam, East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, and the pilgrims of Nagaland will have their orientation and training at Haji Musafirkhana in Guwahati on April 3. While the pilgrims of Durrang and Udalguri districts will be in the District Library, Mangalgai, on April 5, those of Nagaon will be at NEF College of Pharma Education and Res in Nagaon on April 15, those of Hojai and Karbi Anglong districts will be at Markajul Maarif at Hojai on April 5, the pilgrims of Sonitpur and Biswanath districts will be at Musafirkhana Idgah Maidan in Tezpur on April 16, and the pilgrims of Morigaon will be at Mori Musalman Gaon Bara Masjid in Morigaon on April 7.
The pilgrims of Barpeta and Bajali districts will have their training on April 3 at Hawly, of those of Goalpara district will be on April 5 in Goalpara, those of Nalbari, Baksa and Tamulpur districts will be at Nalbari on April 6, the prilgrims of Rangia will be on April 5 at Rangia, those of Bongaigaon and Chirang districts will be in Bongaigaon on April 6, those of Dhubri on April 9, those of Bilasipara on April 8, those of Kokrajhar on April 5, those of South Salmari on April 8, of West Garo Hills and South West Garo Hill of Meghalaya on April 5, of Lakhimpur on April 7, of Dibrugarh on April 3, of Tinsukia on April 5, of Golaghat on April 3, of Sivasagar and Charaideo at Sivasagar on April 8, of Jorhat on April 7, of Cachar on April 13, of Sribhumi on April 14, of Hailakandi on April 12, of Badarpur on April 8, of Kalain on April 9, and of Patharkandi/Asimganj at Asimganj on April 9.
